George Bush? Hugo Chavez? What am I missing here?
In following the world news in many forums I have noticed something and I was wondering if anyone else sees what I see. If you are a "conservative" you won't it because you don't have that 'seeing gene' your abilities in sight are only in the "Gd Bless American and Let's Roll" gene but that's the topic of another blog.
Here is what I've noticed and would love your take on it. Our President (remember 01.20.09!) and his cronies have kept our great nation in a state of fear since September 2001 with the call to action to fight the bad guys world wide. The doctrine of "keeping the fight over there so it won't happen again here" has been the constant battle cry and for the most part has created the most hated President this country has seen. It has created a world that takes great pleasure at taking shots at us real and imaginary. I find that amazing. Here is what I find more amazing. Hugo Chavez, that despot in Venezuela, has been saying the same thing. America is coming to get us. Run up the "red" flag, they want our oil and will do anything to get it. I just find it amazing that the same rhetoric our President uses on others has been turned back on us. And yes, I say our President even though I did not vote for him but he is all we've got until 01.20.09. Love to hear your thoughts. 0 comments from 0 users
