Libs dont have a problem with it but you might

Recently Obama has the object of Satire in the New Yorker and he said it was

"I know it was The New Yorker's attempt at satire. I don't think they were entirely successful with it," Obama said. "But you know what? It's a cartoon ... and that's why we've got the First Amendment."

Pretty good statement right? he doesn;t like being the the satire but whatever...then this

Obama has spent the better part of the past 18 months debunking false Internet rumors that he's Muslim and defending his patriotism. He's Christian, but Obama said he's been derelict in pointing out how hurtful these attacks are to Muslim Americans.

These fallacious e-mails and The New Yorker cartoon are "actually an insult against Muslim Americans," he said. There are "wonderful Muslim Americans" across the country, Obama said, and "for this to be used as sort of an insult, or to raise suspicions about me, I think is unfortunate."

"It's not what America's all about," he said.

Whats an insult is my dear Obama is your camp shunning Muslim women from appearing in your pictures at a recent event because they were "wonderful Muslim Americans"

Whats insulting is not this satire that clearly is making fun that people mis characterized you as a radical, what insulting is that you look at everything as PR and despite two Americans that support, you denied their praise because of a calculated analysis about what people think. That you have no ideology that a poll can topple.

Obama and his camp don't just do things because he believe its right he does them to get the most votes. He also changes at will to whatever will suit him no matter who it hurts offends, or dis-allusions.

If a bunch of Conservative hacks hadn't of started the whole "Obama is a Muslim" nonsense, his camp never would have needed to "shun" those Muslim women away from the photo op.

It wasn't his camp.

It was a volunteer who did it on his own.

You can't expect BS to tell the truth about what happened.

Oh, I know that TSM, however to many (like BS), a volunteers are part of the "camp".

You know my point is still good.

If Obama really wanted to win over folks, he would have invited those muslim people to stand next to him and told the conservatives to shove it.   If he were a real person and not just a puppet politition he would have had more then the 2 !  By pushing them away, so to speak, he makes me think he doth protest too much. I would have had more respect for him had he included the muslim people.  Gotta get good PR though don't we.

By pushing them away

No such thing happened. And when Obama found out what happened, he apologized for the volunteer's action.

Aref, a 25-year-old lawyer, said a member of her group was told by a volunteer that she could not invite Aref because of "a sensitive political climate."

Obama spokesman Bill Burton issued a statement saying such actions are "not the policy of the campaign."

"It is offensive and counter to Obama's commitment to bring Americans together and simply not the kind of campaign we run. We sincerely apologize for this behavior," the statement read.

You know my point is still good.

Absolutely.

Aside from the silly point about the one time they moved muslim women, you actually correctly represented what he said. That's better than Rush Oxycontin Limbaugh who made it seem like Obama was completely bent out of shape and offended by it. I hope by now most people know that if you want to be misinformed, Rush is the man to listen to.

TSM: "pushing them away" was the wrong choice of words. Didn't mean it literally.

So maybe he should make a "show" of good faith (no pun intended) and invite them to stand by him at his next rally.

Yeah Im sure the volunteer did this one on thier own, give me a break. NO they didnt.

FSG who started the rumor? Which Conservative? Are you sure it wasnt a racist? A clinton supporter? A religous nut? A person that doesnt like Obamas policy?

How do you and where do you get started by a conservative hack?

You have no basis or reason to say that. Please explian? SHare your wisdom.

BS - I'll tell you what - when you can explain to me where you get all your "information" from, I'll give you my sources. Until that day, it's not worth putting forth the effort.

It's obvious you've never been to an event where volunteers were used. They're always making decisions on their own.

On orders from Senator John McCain's security detail, Denver police escorted a 61-year-old woman away who was waiting in line to attend a so-called  town hall meeting with McCain that was billed as open to the public.

Carol Kreck, who works as a librarian in Denver, held a homemade sign reading "McCain = Bush." On orders from McCain's security detail, police cited her for trespassing and escorted her to the sidewalk. She was told if she returned she would be arrested.

"And all I did was carry a sign that said McCain = Bush," Kreck said. "And for everyone who voted for Bush, I don't see why it's offensive to say McCain = Bush."

You really should read more. You wouldn't look quite so stupidly ignorant. But then again, you gotta be you, right?

So it was a person who was going to run against him for senate who happens to be conservative?

Are you surprised?

Conservative candidates from the local to national level have been using these techniques ever since Karl Rove perfected them against McCain during the 2000 primary.

Unfortunately for them, they don't work anymore for the most part. But it hasn't stopped conservatives from trying.
