Have you seen a black car with a white door?
Location:
4700 Half Dome Way,
Bakersfield, CA
This is the latest on a potential shooting and kidnapping of a 9-year-old boy. The suspect vehicle is black with a white drivers side door...... A man may have shot and kidnapped a 9-year-old boy in south Bakersfield on Wednesday morning. A man wearing a mask or heavy makeup began shooting at the two boys, possibly with a paint ball gun, and hit Zane, the boy told police. The suspect then got out of the car and chased the boys, police said. Eventually he grabbed Zane, put him in the car and drove off. The car was last seen heading west on Pacheco Road. Police said they have not found any blood at the scene. They did find a broken-open paint ball in the street, but are unsure of its age. Police have sent out an Amber Alert on the apparent abduction. Anyone with information should call 661-852-7800. Parents of Zane and neighbors tried to track down the car shortly after the incident but had no luck. The sheriff's helicopter has also been searching for the vehicle. Zane is a 4th grader at Planz Elementary. He has brown hair and eyes, a silver hoop earring in his left ear and was wearing long blue denim shorts and black tennis shoes when he was taken. Neighbors called Zane a "good boy" and said he was regularly seen playing with other children in the neighborhood. "He is a good little boy," said neighbor Mary Lou Rodriguez. "There is no reason for anyone to try and hurt him." Neighborhood watch block captain Jim Bracamonte said the neighborhood has never had an incident like this one. He said he'll probably change how he lets his two children play. "We'll let them play in the back yard," he said. "If they're outside and in front, there will have to be a parent with them." A reporter and photographer are on the scene and will be updating the story throughout the day. 2 comments from 2 users

Fox58 was repremanded by the public that it showed the friend's face that lied about zane.. I believe the child was wrong and i don't see any reason why his face should not be shown. Its not apolling.. it is fact, he lied, he won't be punished but he needs to be shown to the public... and this is MY OPINION!!!! posted by

Your comments are meant to scorn a 9 year old?! Grow up! Do you honestly think that karma will not catch this lie? He will forever have to live with what he did without input from thoughtless people like you. This is a tragic accident. You really need to understand the mind of a child before you speak such ugly thoughts aloud. This is a classic example of why all of us should remember what our parents taught us about manners: "think before you speak" the world is not all about you. Others can be hurt forever by a simple sentence that you utter....as this lie has shown and now, so have you!
