I'm a teacher and see more and more of this mindless, selfish, useless behavior from more and more kids - some of which were/are my very own students. This kid, and he was a kid, made wrong choices at every juncture. Anyone with a knats sensability knows when the police lights come on, you pull over and are cooperative - didn't happen here - wrong choice; steal a car - wrong choice; run the streets at night - wrong choice; make questionable movements - wrong choice; got a 15 year old pregnant - wrong choice. WRONG CHOICES!!! By the way, where was mama and daddy? Where were parental controls? Where was the tough love that might have saved this kid's life? Throw his gangster ass in a boot camp, church camp, boy scout camp, or juvenile hall - but do something. Manuel's life is past saving, so do something to save another brother, nephew, uncle, etc etc, etc. I have no sympathy for mama, her boy was bad - not the cops. Accept the responsiblity, place the blame where it should go, on a boy gone bad.

I'm sorry another 16 year old lost his life because of stupidity. Now "mama" is all over the TV boo-hooing about her "baby" and "he never had no gun" and "he just wanted to be here for his baby". His BABY????? He's 16, running the streets AND he has a girlfriend with a baby?! Well why am I not surprised?!
