Bakersfield Fire Department promotes firefighters to engineers

PRESS RELEASE
The Bakersfield FIRE Department announces recent departmental promotions of Firefighters
Fire Chief Ron Fraze and the Bakersfield FIRE Department proudly announce the promotion of five (5) of its members to the rank of Engineer within the organization. On Monday, May 19, 2008 @ 1100 hrs (11:00 a.m. PST) a ceremony will held at Bakersfield City Council Chambers, 1501 Truxtun Ave.
Those receiving promotions are: Andrew Puetz, Firefighter to Engineer, Casey Snow, Firefighter to Engineer, Chad Burton, Firefighter to Engineer, Michael Bloomer, Firefighter to Engineer, John Hardisty, Fiirefighter to Engineer.
The newly promoted members and their families are invited to a ceremony at Bakersfield City Council Chambers, where badge pinings will held immediately following a formal address and motivational words from the BFD Fire Chief and BFD Deputy Chiefs.

You folks that always question overtime for Firefighters had better get ready. I have a feeling that this summer lots of Kern County Firefighters will make big bucks and earn every penny. posted by
