Armed Robbery
 
On 7/7/08, at approximately 3:10 p.m. Bakersfield Police responded to a reported
armed robbery at the Del Taco restaurant, 3624 California Avenue.
 
The suspect, armed with a firearm, confronted the manager in the parking lot as
she was walking from the restaurant to her vehicle.  The suspect took a bag
containing currency belonging to the business along with some personal property
belonging to the victim.  The suspect was last seen running north from the
business.  The manager was not injured.
 
The suspect is described as a:
Black male, 20-25, 5’2, thin build, black beanie cap, dark
sunglasses, black hooded sweatshirt, and dark jeans.
 
Anyone with information is asked to call Bakersfield Police at 661-327-7111. 
Anonymous and confidential information can be provided through Secret Witness
at 661-322-4040.

The crook just happened to rob the manager as she walked to her car at 3:10 in the afternoon with the cash from the business? Sounds like someone familiar with the business routine had some inside information. That happens more than people realize.
