Lancaster man arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in Rosamond

Time:  8:59:28 PM

Details:

On 7-6-08, at approximately 2130hrs, deputies from the Rosamond Substation responded to the 3300 block of Firebush Ave to a report of a stabbing.  Upon arrival, deputies found 36 year old Reynaldo Cooper of Rosamond, suffering from a laceration to his arm.  While investigating, deputies learned 39 year old Miguel Cooper of Lancaster, got into an argument with his brother, Reynaldo.  During the argument, Miguel swung a knife at Reynaldo, causing the injury to Reynaldo’s arm. 

Reynaldo Cooper was transported to Antelope Valley Hospital by Hall Ambulance for treatment.  Miguel Cooper was arrested and booked into the Central Receiving Facility in Bakersfield for assault with a deadly weapon charges.  His bail is set at $25,000.00.

This is the most effective way to win an argument.

We could put this whole "Evolution vs. Creationism" thing to bed if we just put a bunch of guys in a pit and give them swords. Real American Gladiators!
