Marijuana Seizure in Mojave.

At 7:00 am on 7/18/08 Deputies from Mojave and Rosamond Substations served a search warrant at 15628 “K” Street, Apartment 1, in Mojave. The service of the search warrant was the result of an investigation of sales of marijuana at that address. After securing the apartment, Deputies located marijuana and suspected Ecstasy pills in one bedroom and 71 bindles of marijuana in a bathroom cabinet. The total amount of marijuana seized was about ½ pound. A canine from the Kern County Probation Department assisted and was instrumental in locating the marijuana.

Deputies arrested 30 year-old Wynetta Taylor and 22 year-old , Joshua Mathews for possession of marijuana for sale and possession of a controlled substance (Ecstasy).   Both were booked at the Kern County Jail. Bail for both is set at $20,000. Taylor and Mathews both live at the “K” Street address.
