Upon looking at Rivas' criminal record here in Kern County, I would say that when he pleads guilty to the charges in this case, he's facing a VERY long prison sentence. Bye bye, loser. posted by

There was an Alfonso Rivas in Porterville when I lived there in 2004. Guy was about the size of a third-grader, with the tattoos and red knee socks. Tough guy - all 120 pounds of him. I was watching the news one morning in 2006 after I had moved to Visalia, and Kim Stephens on KMPH said "The body of Alfonso Rivas was found lying on a sidewalk in Dinuba." YEAH!!! I said, pumping my fists in the air. Stabbed to death. You know it's going to be a good day when it starts off like that!
