So from someone with a little more knowledge of the whole situation she won't be going back to him anytime soon. And not because he is going to be in jail for a while, but because she left him over three years ago and never has gone or planned to go back to him.

Geez, superbad29, who really cares what these guys are, they stopped a woman from possibly being killed.  Maybe a little too far but he got what was coming to him. Maybe he'll think twice about hitting women.  I also like to think of a true hero as someone that can spell.

Well from the real side of things I have been friends with Gail for 15 years, and this guy has stalked her , beat her, and threatened to kill her several times, and if you ask her mother she would tell you that Gail has been trying to get away from him over the last 3 years with no luck. He will eventually kill her if something is not done.

My prayers are with Gayle Sullivan -- I know what she's going through .  There are no easy solutions.  The beating may make Bogue think twice before he harms her again, but it's doubtful.  I fear for Ms Sullivan's safety if Bogue is released on bail -- he's going to be even angrier.  Quicksho may be right -- Bogue will kill Sullivan if something is not done.

The legislatures of this state need to wake up & put some real teeth in our domestic violence laws.  I pray the DA throws the book at Bogue & that a Judge will set a bond so high that he will remain in custody.
