The Sheriff's Department's smaller helicopters, he said last year, just can't do some jobs,.... The new helicopter also does great work inserting large SWAT teams into areas across the county swiftly, Youngblood said.

$4.5 million...Whoa! Does anyone know how much of that would provide for an enhanced community outreach program provided through the department of human services? - increased salaries for real CPS workers and administrators who sympathize with the public's need to know.... --virgil posted by

Yeah let's give CPS an additional $4.5 Million after how many inquests from Dean Florez for poor performance. That would be like giving a child with a cavity in every tooth free reign of a candy store. posted by

Chico, You're not ready to do a standing backflip over the Huey (however, pretty it might be), are you? That's a lot of money for transporting the swat team fast, anywhere in the county, as "we" need to, "as necessary"...just like it was back in Nam, or..humm...errr..., the first gulf war....! Oh, Yeah!! Whoa!!!!!!!!!! --virigl
