On October 5, 2008 at approximately 9:15 a.m. Kern County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a peace disturbance at 3300 15th Street West space #281, in Rosamond.  The peace disturbance was reported by a neighbor.  While deputies were responding to the peace disturbance additional information was received that both the man and woman involved in the peace disturbance had been stabbed.  When deputies arrived they found the man lying on the floor just inside the front door suffering from several stab wounds to his neck, arms and body.  The man was unconscious.   Deputies then found the woman lying on the kitchen floor suffering from several stab wounds to her face, neck and body.  The woman also had a knife lodged in her mouth and she was unable to speak.  Deputies requested medical aid for both persons.  The woman was transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital where she underwent immediate surgery.  The man was transported to Kern Medical Center, via air ambulance where he also underwent immediate surgery.  The female victim is listed as being in unstable critical condition.  The male is in critical condition.

The female victim is identified only as a 26 year old Hispanic female.
The male is identified as Rigoberto Gonzalez a (D.O.B. 8-30-80) 28 year old Hispanic male.

"I am curious to see if Gonzalez turns out to be a drug user with only non-violent arrests in the past."

You don't have any money ridding on this wait and see thing, do you?
