Lots of crime in the northeast and southwest last week.
There were quite a number of crimes last week. 221, according to the map data sent to us by the Bakersfield Police. Most surprisingly to me, they're concentrated in the northeast and southwest. The northwest and southeast seem relatively untouched. OK, I talked with Greg Terry and he doesn't know why. Maybe the police substation in the southeast is working and crime is going elsewhere.
