Details:On January 5, 2009, at about 2:30 PM, Deputies were dispatched to the 3400 block of Edison Highway in East Bakersfield, regarding a fight involving several subjects armed with baseball bats and knives.

When deputies arrived they located an injured adult female. The female was suffering from apparent stab wounds and had also been struck with a baseball bat. The female was transported via ambulance to Kern Medical Center were she is being treated for her injuries.

During the investigation, two suspects (Debra Gannon 43 years old and a 16 year old juvenile) were identified and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

Deputies were unable to locate a possible second victim, an adult white male, who fled prior to their arrival. This investigation is ongoing.
