On 1-23-09, at approx. 0300 Hrs., KCSD Deputies arrested 39 yr. old Rogellio, Vidal, Landa and 46 yr. old Tina, Yvonne, Semones both of Maricopa during the commission of a home invasion robbery.  Deputies had been sent to 335 Jefferson St., Taft on a report of a subject brandishing a firearm while walking near the apartment complex..  As deputies were advancing into the courtyard of the apartment complex a shot was heard.  Moments later Landa crashed out of an upper story apartment window, falling to the ground just a few feet from the deputies.  When Landa hit the ground he lost control of a .357 Cal. revolver he had been holding in his hand.

Deputies later determined Landa had kicked in the front door to the apartment and robbed four male occupants of their wallet's and money.  During the robbery Landa fired the pistol into the ceiling.  None of the victims sustained any injuries.  Property belonging to the victims was recovered from Landa.  Semones was found waiting in a car parked near the apartment complex.  Inside the car was a black ski mask and a holster which fit the .357 revolver.

Landa was taken to KMC for treatment of injuries he sustained from falling from the window.  He will later be booked at CRF on four counts of Robbery, four counts of ADW and a parole violation.  Semones was booked at the Taft City Jail on one count of Conspiracy.
