One of three barbershop robbery suspect surrenders

On 3/5/09, at approximately 6:30 p.m. Ashli Mari Winters (25), surrendered to
police at the downtown police department.  She was being sought in connection
with an armed robbery which occurred on 3/4/09 in the 700 block of East
Brundage Lane.
 
Winters was interviewed by detectives and released pending further
investigation.  The suspects who committed the armed robbery are still
outstanding.  They are identified as:
 
Carlos Ruiz Jr. (19), 5’6, 160, black hair, brown eyes, and
 Patrick Darnell Harris (25), 5’10, 170, black hair, brown eyes, 
 
The investigation is continuing.
 
Anyone with information is asked to call Bakersfield Police at 661-327-7111. 
Anonymous and confidential information can be provided through Secret Witness
at 661-322-4040.
