Search warrants reveal details on cases
Here’s an inside look at what law enforcement is working on, told through court filed search warrants: • New details were released regarding the murder of Chantha Meas, the woman who was abducted from her home Oct. 13. Jeffrey Paul Chitwood, who police say stalked her, was arrested in connection with the crime: - Meas was shot twice, once in the left cheek and the second above her right eye. - Detectives noticed several spots of blood and tissue on the corner of Chitwood’s 2002 Chevrolet pickup, consistent with blood spatter at the crime scene. - Detectives seized from Chitwood truck a Motorola phone, a key ring with seven rings, a key ring with four rings and one pair of orange work gloves among other things. - Detectives said when Chitwood was questioned, he “admitted to ‘hiding out’” at his parent’s house, who themselves were uncooperative with investigators. • Police were trying to get access of Yahoo!
