Case # 09-03-0392

On Friday, 03/20/2009, at 1:24 PM, the Tehachapi PD School Resource Officer received a report of a handgun having been found in a student’s backpack at Jacobson Middle School, 711 Anita Dr, Tehachapi. Upon arrival, the officer was told that a student had reported to school officials that another 12 year old male student had brought a handgun to school in his backpack. School officials then contacted the 12 year old student and found a loaded .38 caliber revolver in the backpack.

The student was arrested without incident for 12031 PC Possession of a Loaded Firearm, 12025 PC, Possession of a Concealed Firearm, and 626.9 PC, Possession of a Firearm on School Campus. My child said that the person in question was a trouble maker and always throwing gang signs.   I mean really in a small town school we have more problems than Bako!
