DECEDENT'S NAME:  Christopher Lee Downing           CASE #: C01021-09
CITY OF RESIDENCE: Bakersfield      &n bsp;   AGE: 41 Years
TYPE OF CASE: Suspicious Circumstances
DATE OF INCIDENT: 05/21/2009      &nb sp;   TIME: 1950 Hours
LOCATION: 3100 Block of Niles Street Bakersfield
DATE OF DEATH: Found 05/21/2009      &nb sp;  TIME: 1950 Hours
PLACE OF DEATH: 3100 Block of Niles Street
INVESTIGATING AGENCY: Kern County Sheriff's Office

Details: The decedent was positively identified by fingerprint comparison as Christopher Lee Downing, a 41 year old Caucasian male.  An autopsy was performed on May 22, 2009 and the cause of death is pending further investigation toxicology analysis.  


Comments: The next of kin have been notified.
