Police arrest suspect in five armed robberies

The Bakersfield Police Department arrested a Bakersfield man early Friday in connection with the armed robberies of five area businesses.

At 2:30 a.m., police picked up Justin Gregory Collins, 22, of Bakersfield for his suspected involvement in the following robberies:

— Taco Fresco, 1431 California Avenue on 7/14/09.
— Circle K, 5634 Stine Road on 7/16/09.
— Radio Shack, 2695 Mt. Vernon Avenue on 7/16/09.
— Stockdale Liquors, 3808 Stockdale Highway on 7/19/09.
— Fastrip, 3701 Ming Avenue on 7/26/09.

Collins was armed with a firearm during each of these offenses, police said.

That hat is exactly what I would wear if I was going to rob a Fasttrip.  It just screams  "ROBBER ENTERING THE STORE"

Only five roberies.  What about the Subway on Niles the same night as Stockdale liquors?  What about the one on Morning yesterday?  Same description or are all the robbers in the same outfit?  I would not want to work in a convenience store.

Yeah, and he's wearing socks with flip-flops.  I'll bet he's got an active warrant with the Fashion Police.

Is he wearing kitchen gloves?
