Inyokern substation to hold open house Saturday

Sheriff's Office Inyokern Substation hosts open house on Saturday September 26, 2009 0900-1400 hours

Details:
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office will host an open house at the Sheriff’s Office Inyokern Substation on Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.  The open house will be part of the Centennial Celebration for Inyokern, hosted by the Inyokern Chamber of Commerce. 

The Inyokern Substation is used for training law enforcement personnel in the use of All Terrain Vehicle (ATVs), and Dual Sport/Off-Road Motorcycles.  The Sheriff’s Office Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement Team will have several off-road patrol vehicles on display. 

The Sheriff’s Office Inyokern Substation will be staffed with volunteers from the Sheriff’s Citizen Service Unit (CSU) assigned to the Ridgecrest Substation.

Refreshments will be provided by the Kern Valley, Sheriff’s Activities League (SAL).  Kern Valley SAL will have a static display.  Several kids from Kern Valley, SAL will also be participating in the Inyokern Centennial Celebration parade.

The Sheriff’s Office Inyokern Substation is located at 6612 Orchard Street, Inyokern.

Uh, your headline has been misspelled for days now ...

There seems to be a lot of spelling errors lately.  Yesterday they called a police officer a peach officer.  Maybe they rely on the bloggers to be the spell checkers.
