Fatal crash near Inyokern Sunday night
A crash at about 5:10 p.m. Sunday on Highway 14 outside Inyokern, in northeastern Kern County, has apparently killed one person and injured several others, scanner traffic indicates.
Emergency personnel shut down the roadway near the intersection of 14 and Highway 178 around 5:45 p.m. to allow an air ambulance to land. A coroner has been requested at the scene.
