At a news conference Wednesday, Holder seemed to say the Drug Enforcement Administration would end its raids on state-approved medical marijuana dispensaries.
Such a move could prompt a huge change in Kern County, since state law allows the use of medical marijuana. Federal law, however,...

I was called for jury duty this week and spent a half day or so watching a jury being seated for a misdemeanor trial.
This was my second time being called for jury duty. Both times I've ended up being called into a courtroom but never seated. I’ve never even been questioned. (It's kind of a disappointment since I would love to see if I actually would end up on a jury, since my job is all about covering courts.)

Recently I wrote a story about stalkers, specificially focusing on the case of a man who allegedly stalked and killed a gas station clerk last year.
I was wondering if anyone has any creepy or strange cases they've dealt with over the years regarding someone stalking them or maybe an ex who was acting in a similar manner. How did you handle it? Was it necessary to get police involved?
