Free Slurpees on 7/11
In honor of its 82nd anniversary, participating 7-Eleven stores are giving away free Slurpees on Saturday, 7/11 (get it?) A random phone survey of Bakersfield locations found that most are participating; however some folks manning the phones had no idea what the caller was talking about, so proceed at your own risk. The corporate-issued cups are 7.11-ounces. The drinks are free while supplies last.

McDonalds is also doing a free drink promotion. They'll be giving away Mochas on Mondays starting this Monday until the beginning of August. Check out www.twitter.com/bakodealsfor more info. posted by
