They turn quick, don't they?
"I have been a huge supporter of Barack. He is the guy I’ve been behind for quite awhile now. Check my older diaries if you wonder about that. And while I’ve been steeling myself for a Barack loss in November, because I think the Repug machine is too good for him to beat, I had resigned myself to still working hard for him and for the Progressive cause!" 15 comments from 6 users

Live by the sword, die by the sword. It was bound to happen. If you make everything about race, it will bite you in the butt! (no matter the color) posted by

I think that is a pretty off-hand capricious unqualified statement for a reporter (unless you quoted a snippet out of context). I have no idea what it is about Obama that would turn this guy's support to disgust. In any case, referring to Barak as an "Uncle Tom" is unwarrented, ugly name-calling. posted by

Though, for some of us, we'd prefer him to be more conservative on the issues, for others, he can never be liberal enough, and he can never be black enough. posted by

From Little Green Snotballs? Of *COURSE* it's taken out of context. The guy's a troll. He never posts any comments, so I can't find his UID, but I'll bet it's in the 150,000's. (In other words, a relatively recent manure-flinger.) posted by

Kinda. Neither was supportable with the available resources. . Difference is, the Million-Man March would not have bankrupted the United States. McBush's Hundred Years' War would do just that before failing. posted by

In a sermon given at his San Antonio, Texas Cornerstone megachurch that was telecast and available in up to ninety million homes worldwide, controversial pastor John Hagee, who has endorsed the presidential bid of Arizona Republican Senator John McCain, Jr., claimed that American public schools provide abortion services. Hagee stated, "Your daughter can get an abortion in public school without telling you but she can't get an aspirin without your approval." The pastor also claimed that public school teachers can force their students to study a "precursor to witchcraft" and suggests that America has invited "satan" and demonic spirits into its public school systems by failing to display the Ten Commandments on classroom walls. Presidential hopeful John McCain, Jr. has said he is "glad to have" Hagee's support and "admires" the leadership of the Texas pastor - who has declared God has cursed and doomed America. The abortions are available after lunch and before gym class.

How come I always get the creepy feeling outspoken pastors and ministers have this fixation on young women and their vaginas? posted by

Most Americans are divisive racists, which is why Hageegate hasn't even been so much as a blip on the proverbial radar screen... posted by

Hagee has some interesting things to say about Jesus, too. About him not being "the Messiah," and all. All of which McCain agrees with, I'm sure. http://www.dailykos.com/sto... (Since DailyKos seems to be so "in" today)
