Somehow we ended up downtown and thought why not stop in and have a beer at The Cigar Bar. You can bring your own cigar or browse the walk-in humidor. We were excited to find that they served Blue Moon in a bottle.  There were several groups enjoying cigars and cocktails.  It is a cozy ambiance with leather couches and high top tables.  You can also rent out the back room for private parties (don’t forget to add us to your guest list!).  Stephanie the...

We ended up at Uricchio’s  last night on a whim.  Kenny may be the best bartender in Bakersfield.  You will have a drink in hand in mere moments of entering the lounge.  This is the place to go if you are craving a cocktail.  He is a true mixologist.  His specialties include a Lemon Drop, Mai Tai, Long Island Ice Tea and the Washington Apple which we had to sample.  This is more than just a great place to eat. Stop in and see Kenny at...

Our drink of the week was inspired by a recent trip to the snow.  If you ever find yourself snowed in this is sure to help you stay warm and pass the time. Snow Plow 1 shot mandarin orange vodka 1 shot whisky 1 shot apple pucker 1/2 can Red Bull Shake together and serve over the rocks.    What do you like to drink when playing out in the snow?
