Derlago has hot hand
It's not a coincidence that Bakersfield's recent hot streak — 4-1-2 — coincides with red-hot rookie Mark Derlago, who has 10 goals in his past seven games. Derlago, of Brandon, Manitoba, led the WHL junior league last year in goals with 46, most of those coming from around the net where he likes to roam. Most often Derlago is already in his prime scoring territory when he gets the puck, but on Jan. 25 he made a spectacular play to get to the slot before firing a shot high into the net. It's definitely worth a look or two. 1 comments from 1 users
