Condors implode in Victoria

Condors coach Marty Raymond said his team simply imploded under pressure and that pretty much summed up how the Condors allowed the Victoria Salmon Kings to steal a win Saturday night at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria, B.C.
Up 3-1 and on a power play with just over 12 minutes left, the Condors gave up two short-handed goals to give the Salmon Kings life. Victoria scored the game-winning goal with 3:30 remaining as the Condors were outshot 16-4 in the final 20 minutes.
Now the Salmon Kings head to Bakersfield for three games with the best-of-seven series tired 1-1.
The Salmon Kings will feed off the victory and it will be interesting to see how the Condors bounce back on Tuesday night.
