Condors have firepower, need consistency

It's going to take some time, but if the Condors can begin to show some consistency, pay attention to the systems and work together this just might be a fun team to watch this season.
That was evident by a late-first-period rally and an dominating second period as the Condors evened their ECHL record at 1-1 with a 7-4 win over Stockton on Wednesday night.
On the other side of the coin, most of the first period was painful to watch due to numerous breakdowns which kept  the Condors bottled up in their own zone. The third period wasn't much better, but the Condors may have been guilty of trying to sit on a 6-3 lead instead of just playing their game.
Thirteen players scored points for the Condors, which illustrates the firepower capability of this team.
The physicality of the team will be tested on Friday night when the Condors travel to Fresno as the Falcons, play their home opener in Selland Arena.

Talk about running around in your own zone!  Holy cow that first period was awful!  Team defense needs a major kick in the butt.  I definitely like this Pope kid, gritty forward.
