Condors take series lead with OT win

Wow.
From the perspective of a fan, hockey games just don't get much better than Bakersfield's 6-5 overtime victory over Las Vegas on Wednesday night.
Wide-open, full-throttle hockey that produced 10 goals and a 5-5 tie after two period with Dave Bonk getting four of those for the Condors (and the fifth sombrero as he joined Mark Derlago, Mike Wirll, Tyler Michel and Andrew Ianiero in the hat-trick club).
Bruce Graham lifted a backhander over Las Vegas goaltender John DeCaro with 4:34 left in overtime to give the comeback Condors the win.
Bakersfield came back from a 2-0 deficit in Las Vegas on Saturday night to the the series 1-1and twice came back from two-goal deficits on Wednesday night to take a 2-1 series lead.
The teams combined for 107 shots, which will probably be giving both coaches nightmares but sure made it exciting for the fans.
But moments after the win, Dave Bonk had already put it in  perspective.
“We need to refocus and prepare for Friday,” he said.
