A tap of the stick to all involved with the Fourth Annual Hockey-Thon, a 41-hour marathon that raised $56,700 for Links for Life, breast cancer resource center in Bakersfield.
More than 130 players participated in last weekend’s event, the highlight being a celebrity game pitting former Condors against former Fresno Falcons.

The opposition keeps racking up goals, but so do the Condors.
Yutaka Fukufuji gave up six goals Thursday night in his first start since going down with a concussion on Jan. 26 but so did Utah goaltender Michael Mole. The Condors erupted for four goals in a shootout for a 7-6 wins, their first shootout victory in eight tries.
