Former Condor Alexander Bolduc took a step toward playing in his first National Hockey League game on Tuesday when he was called up from Manitoba in the AHL to the Vancouver Canucks.
Bolduc started his career in Bakersfield in 2005-06 and was signed to a try out by Manitoba before Christmas rolled around. Could defenseman Kevin Truelson be back with the Condors in the near future?

The Condors are heading into unchartered waters — a five-game road trip and it will be interesting to see how they weather the storm.
They hit all their in-state rivals this weekend — in Ontario on Friday, up to Fresno on Saturday and in Stockton on Sunday. A win in Ontario would be huge, not only to start the trip off on the right foot, but it would give the Condors, who are coming off a 2-1 win at home on Monday night, back-to-back victories for the first time this...
Forward Dany Roussin has left the Condors and headed to Europe.
Roussin, a fourth-year pro drafted in the second round by the Los Angles Kings in 2005, came to Bakersfield in hopes of re-igniting his career but that didn’t happen. The former linemate of Sidney Crosby in juniors had just three assists in five games. He had 57 points in 65 games in Reading last season.
He informed Condors coach Marty Raymond of his decision on Monday morning.
“By his own admission, he said he...
Now the Condors know how it feels to suffer a blowout loss.
Bakersfield entered Saturday night's game against Stockton with two big wins (7-4 over Stockton and 6-3 over Ontario) and three one-goal losses (one of those in a shootout).
Now you can an an 8-3 drubbing to that tally.
If nothing else, the loss, which came about due to a five-goal Stockton onslaught in the first 10 minutes of the second period, should help the Condors realize that every shift of every game has...
