Maybe there was a bad bounce here, a deflection there or whatever. But in Friday night's 5-2 loss to the Alaska, the difference in goaltending was dramatic. Alaska rookie Jean-Philippe Lamourex stopped 36 of 38 shots, for a terrific .947 save percentage, and seemed to be frustrating the Bakersfield shooters. After amassing just four points in 15 games, Kevin Truelson’s on-again, off-again relationship with the Condors this season is over. It was bound to happen. Three days after Condors coach Marty Raymond decided the team could no longer afford the luxury of carrying three goaltenders, Bakersfield is down to one. The Condors traded goaltender Ryan Nie to the Cincinnati Cyclones on Wednesday for defenseman Donny Grover, ending what had become a goaltending juggling act.  Bakersfield has carried three goaltenders since late November after acquiring Nie in early November.
