With their coaching staff suspended and a fellow player in jail, (see stories in sports), it’s been a rough 48 hours for the Condors.
But there’s no time for them to be distracted. The hottest team in the ECHL (8-1-1), which happens to be fighting for a playoff spot, as the Condors get right back into the frey tonight against the Alaska Aces.
It’s a heck of a double-whammy and it will be interesting to see how the team responds. A month ago, it might have been...
The Condors concluded their part of the Hockey-Thon in impressive fashion, breaking open a tie game with three third-period goals for a 5-2 victory over Victoria.

Winning two games in a row isn't much to crow about, unless you've gone 18 games without doing so.
So when the Condors gave up a two-goal lead early in the third period on Saturday night then came back to get the game-winner by Dave Bonk in a 4-3 win over Idaho, there was just cause to a little celebration.
At 16-26-6 and five points behind Phoenix and seven behind Utah in the race for the final playoff spot, there remains a big hill to climb.
But just like last season when the...
