Rookie center MacGregor Sharp got the call about an hour after Bakersfield's 4-3 shootout victory over Ontario early Wednesday afternoon.

The Condors released veteran defenseman Shaun Fisher on Wednesday and signed forward Gino Guyer.
Fischer, who did not play on Tuesday night in Bakersfield’s 3-2 win over Stockton, has played in more than 500 minor league games. He had five assists in 11 games for the Condors but appeared to struggle at times with the speed of the ECHL and led the Condors in minor penalties with 13, fifth most in the league.

The Anaheim Ducks assigned defenseman Mark Mitera to the Condors on Saturday and he will be in the lineup tonight when the Condors play host to the Las Vegas Wranglers.
A first-round draft pick of the Ducks in 2007, Mitera had been in the American Hockey League with San Antonio where he had no points in five games.
