Cycling through lights
Got a bike?  Fan of lights?

Bike Bakersfield is hosting a Haggin Oaks cycling tour on the 21st at the Kaiser Permenente parking lot on Ming Ave. at 7 p.m.

Riders are encouraged to dress up their bikes and themselves for the event.  Pedal-powered lights, anyone?

If you haven't checked it out yet, our Holiday Lights map features photos from some of the most brightly lit homes around town.  Take a peek and let us know where else you've seen great lights:

Thanks for the tip.  If you're in that area with a camera, send some photos to mczarnecka@bakersfield.com and we'll add them to the map!

The area south of Harris between Gosford and New Stine has been getting intense over the last few years.

There are very few lights in Haggin Oaks this year. The classic house with Santa no longer exsists....they moved.  Its a sad situation in the South West this Christmas Season.
