Glenn Beck scares Fox host into hiding under table
I hate FOX News & I am not a huge fan of Glenn Beck......but Glenn sure is making sense lately. Things are going to get real bad. I hope everyone is preparing. Cut up your credit cards & buy storable food. Oh yeah & don't ever give up your guns. -----------------------Glenn Beck scares Fox host into hiding under table
rawstory.com/news/2008/Glenn_Beck_predicts_doomsd ay_revolution_0220.html Fox News hosts are known for viewing the world around them with alarm — but Glenn Beck goes far beyond most of his peers at Fox in his belief that the future looks "really bad." In a visit Friday with the hosts of Fox & Friends, Beck even managed to terrify Gretchen Carlson beyond the degree to which she is normally capable of terrifying herself. "What we are possibly looking at is something far worse than the Depression," Beck began. "We are in much greater debt as individuals. We don’t know how to grow our own food." "We’re also looking at civil unrest all around the world," he continued. "You need to prepare. This is something that could be … really dangerous. … My hands, now, for the first time in my life, are shaking. … We’re running out of exit ramps here." Beck’s greatest fear — which he suggests is shared by his friends in the military and the FBI — is clearly not the prospect of widespread poverty, hunger, or homelessness. Rather, it appears to be thenotion that worldwide civil unrest could precipitate a civil war between what he calls the "bubbas" and the United States government. Laying out a convoluted scenario, Beck suggested that the military is preparing for a situation where "something happens down on the border. You’ve got the rancher who is protecting his land, people are starting to come over … there’s a shot fired, it ignites things. ATF, FBI come in and arrest that rancher. How many people are going to say, ‘Wait a minute. … You people knew this was going on and you did nothing to protect us.’" At that point, Gretchen Carlson slid down and hid under the coffee table, saying, "Tell me when the world’s okay to come back out." "I really hope you’re wrong," Steve Doocy added. This video is from Fox’s Fox & Friends, broadcast Feb. 20, 2009. Video link: www.youtube.com/watch 29 comments from 12 users

I've liked Glenn Beck from the beginning and was surprised he lasted so long at CNN. It is only prudent in these times to be prepared for the "unthinkable" since we know the politicians are consistent in lying to us. posted by

Audrey: HA HA I agree..... Hannity & O'reilly are complete idiots. I don't hear them talking about the issues Beck talks about. I still don't like Beck or trust him but lately he is speaking a lot of truth. I remember Beck during the Ron Paul campaign saying how the military should be used against Ron Paul supporters, now Beck has Ron Paul on as a guest & shows him respect. Beck is starting to sound more & more like the alternative media these days....hmmm Well I hope he is coming around & not reading from a script. Psychological warfare is becoming extremely sophisticated. so who really knows?

Glenn Beck's one of my favorites. Always has been even before he joined up with FOX. He's very down to earth, doesn't talk down to his audience, and says, I believe, pretty much what he jolly well thinks. And he gets paid for it. There must be a reason for that; I believe it just happens to be because what he says resonates with a huge portion of the population. If there are those who don't like him, he's not required watching. Any more than anybody else who just happens to be on TV at any particular time. That's why there's that little gadget we call the "remote." You don't even have to get up and shut him or anybody else up. BB hasn't gotten his clutches in yet a-while. posted by
