We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years......It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supernational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries.

Infowar - > Crashing through the phony left-right paradigm -> You guys are right about Sam Heath....
You guys are right about Sam Heath....

I posted a comment that I felt related to one of his topics & he deleted it.

people.bakersfield.com/home/Blog/samheath/51412

His excuse was that I posted a video & some of his readers have dial up. After I noticed the deletion of my comment, I asked Sam why he didn't simply ask me to remove the video. I also stated that I was not going to be a reader of his blog after he decided to censor me.  I let him post on my blogs. I even let him go off topic. I enjoy seeing where blog comments lead. I am just happy to see people engaging each other in the political arena. Yeah sure I would like it better if people kept more on topic, but who I am to censor folks? I have respect for everyone here, even my detractors. It's exciting to see so many of you skipping out on mindless television shows to post & comment on politically related blog topics. Keep up the good work.

Here is a comment left by Sam Heath on one of my recent posts titled 'Why is it bad to smoke weed and OK to sell beer'

Sam left this comment:

Infowar: A major cause for promising posters to leave TBC blog over the past three years is the personal insults of those like RF. I have, once more, reported his violation of TOS to Jason. But such insults by implication are made to any that mention my name favorably and prevent many that read interesting posts such as yours afraid they will become the target of insults if they comment; this is caused "cyber bullying," and bullies should never be left to do their dirty work unchallanged,

Audrey: I have 24 books in print and am working on the 25th one now. The BC blog "readership" is not my "whole world" as you imply by demeaning those few not afraid to comment on my posts though you belittle them for doing so.

those few not afraid to comment on my posts

Sam I think "those few" commenting on your post are the ones you allow to post comments.

Personally I can't stand people who report on others every time they fart. If you can't handle the heat, then post about American Idol or the Next Top Chef.

Sometimes people are going to attack & disagree when you make your opinions public.

That is the nature of politics & open forums. Deal with it or start writing children's books.

Virgil & RF are annoying, but I don't report them. Sometimes I even agree with them on certain issues.

I sort of understand the reasoning for the deletion of my first comment Sammy (you could have at least asked me to remove the video first), you said I could post links though. I would have gladly edited the comment & posted a link to the video. Now I don't have a clue why you deleted my second comment. The only thing I said, was that I will not be reading your post anymore. I am slightly disappointed Sam, because I found some of your writings to be very interesting.
I am sure some of you will post comments in defense of Sam, especially because you don't like me to begin with. There is one thing you can count on when posting comments on my blogs.

You will not be

"The owner of this blog has blocked you from commenting"

I know it's praise you seek Sam. Good luck living in a bubble.

C'est la vie

Who on this site hasn't been blocked or deleted by Sam? It's his blog. If he wants to block the whole world, his business.

Could simply not read his posts but I doubt that would bother him.

posted by siouxcityranch on Nov 4, 2009 at 06:19 AM

WOW info.. i had you pegged as a person above the rest of this childish BS..you usually post things a bit more thought provoking concerning world matters....sure disappointed in you starting a hate blog..maybe you outta think about deleting it...

posted by Infowar on Nov 4, 2009 at 07:29 AM

Catpaw  I know it's his blog. I think his criteria for deleting comments is a bit stringent to say the least.

Sioux I don't see this post as a "hate" blog or childish.

I am merely pointing out my frustrations with Sam.

Yes Sioux I don't usually engage in posting blogs about other blog users, but Sam pissed me off & I felt the need to call him out.

I will not be deleting this post, unless Sam whines to Jason & has it deleted.

Maybe I should delete your comment because you implied that I was acting childish? HA HA

Most of you would be happy to see me banned from this website. I am surprised I lasted this long. Maybe this "hate" blog will be my demise? Let's wait & see.

Wrong *AGAIN*.

Come on RF, you would love to see Jason give me the Ax.

 Oh wait....

you are going to say *ALL* of you would love to see me get banned. Or am I *WRONG* again?

posted by randomfactor on Nov 4, 2009 at 07:43 AM

Nope.

For one thing, it wouldn't be personally good for you--it would reinforce your martyr complex.

I don't have a Martyr complex. That was funny. Thanks for the laugh RF.

Counting Crows suck Virgil.

As usual RF & Virgil are up to their obnoxious antics. : )

great pic of the baby flipping me off info..and so *ADULT* of you...nobody has to turn you in you are on self destruct posting things like that..are you so neive to think the jason and his crew dont monitor the blogs and know a violation as blantant as that one when they see it..i used to like you and admired your tenacity..now your rants are not even worth reading anymore..thanks for making that tuff descion for me..

I think your actually wishing to be banned so you can go brag to your friends that your a *BAD BOY* on TBC..do you in some way find this to be socially uplifting?

With you as the long-suffering victim, of course, suffering for your cause.

I realize that your lunatic conspiracy theories, like Pax's liferaft of outdated dogma, give you a reason to hold on.  That's why I'd hate to see you banned from here.

posted by lanabuford on Nov 4, 2009 at 08:17 AM

I just don't get why it matters if your banned from someones blogs?  is it really that important ...Seriously just move on.

posted by adampayne on Nov 4, 2009 at 08:48 AM

Virgil, thanks for the Counting Crows clip. What a great song, and they have had too many great original ones to count. Their covers of other notable pop classics are also exceptional. A band that made a whole episode of Homicide: Life on the Streets meaningful deserves a little love, and especially since they are a California band. Gotta have something to export other than nuts and carrot tops these days.

Nice post, Infowar. Not hateful in any respect. I admire your tenacity of conspiracy theory life in the 21st century. I also do not understand reporting others on this blog. The only exception to that rule for me is if bunk advertising is posted here that is solely shamelessly self promoting. That I will report.

What names and arguments get posted on here only illuminates how people feel and their thinking process. It exposes to the public their personal codes of conduct. Let the world see everyone for who they are.

Everyone knows how I feel about this subject so there's no point in going into a long dissertation about Sam's behavior again.

I do want to point out that for all his intelligence Sam does have a fatal flaw.  He lacks a sense of humor, therefore, he  can't recognize irony when it slaps him upside the head.

He's upset because he can't communicate his grievances to Jason.  His message isn't  being communicated   Sound familiar?  How does it feel Sam to be (in essence) unable to communicate with Jason?       hmmmmmm

And then there's Sam statement that only a few people are courageous enough to post on his blogs.  those few not afraid to comment on my posts        Too afraid to post or unable to post?   Anybody else see a disconnect in Sam's logic here.

But here's the point I most want to make.  It wasn't the fact of being banned from Sam's post that upset most people.  We've been banned from other bloggers posts without all this drama.  It was THE MANNER IN WHICH SAM BANNED US.  In his arrogance he felt it was unnecessary to give any explanations to ANY OF US  One day you can post and the next day you can't.  No reason, no explanation of what you did to "offend" him.  Just a silence born of arrogance.    I imagine his manner of blocking people satisfied some quirk in his character.

If you think that Sam was always justified in blocking people, ask my daughter Cat why she was banned from commenting on his posts.  It's a CLASSIC!

It was THE MANNER IN WHICH SAM BANNED US.

Exactly.

On another note, who the heck still uses dialup?

What this blog needs is a breakup song.  And since you don't like Counting Crows, Infowar, here's some Led Zeppelin. http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Yeah, that's right, I'm bringing out the big guns, and btw, it's nice to see you've broken through the Clown/Joker paradigm. ; )

Thank you ~Cat~...I'll drink to that....

I think your actually wishing to be banned so you can go brag to your friends that your a *BAD BOY* on TBC..do you in some way find this to be socially uplifting?

I am a lone nut Sioux, I thought you already knew that? I don't have any fwiends....: (

Yeah Sioux my life is so empty that I would get a cheap thrill from being banned.

If the baby pic offends you Sioux, I will change it.

posted by NancyII on Nov 4, 2009 at 09:37 AM

FSG, people who don't have cable use dial up.  They still exist you know.  It ain't cheap.

At least two of the bloggers here say they got rid of cable tv so did they keep their cable internet connection?  Anyone?

edit..I did the dial up free trial one day when the cable was out and I had auctions ending.  Desperate times call for desperate measures.

 Catherine,

Classic Led Zeppelin.

Watching that got me surfing the utube ... and, look at what I found  crashing through the paradigm?

I have not been banned by anyone...

posted by FloridaStateGrad on Nov 4, 2009 at 09:59 AM

Nancy, there are other options besides cable or dialup, such as dsl...

I just find it interesting that with so many advances in technology, people still are using dialup, especially considering it's not that much cheaper these days.

posted by CatherineBaker on Nov 4, 2009 at 10:02 AM

Good morning, Ling.  ; )

That's a great one, Virgil.  Watching it got me all tangled up in a Coen Brother paradigm.

Mom--I think I'll keep the circumstances around sam banning me our little secret.  I don't think it reflects well on him, so we'll just keep it between us and just a handful of other people I've told.  Haha!!!

posted by adampayne on Nov 4, 2009 at 10:38 AM

My wife and I eliminated our cable/satellite service months ago and get Internet connectivity through the phone company DSL lines. We eliminated our land lines from the phone company at the same time. I believe I am just as informed today as I was three months ago when I had 200 channels with nothing I wanted to watch while paying nearly $90 per month for the privilege.

Not having shouting matches on the afternoon "news" channels hammer me in the background, or being tormented by canned laughter and faux reality situations screening multiple losers has greatly enhanced my frame of mind.

My wife and I are now divorcing because we actually have heard what the other had to say.- Just kidding.- We do communicate a lot better these days as a result of our change.

posted by bakoblue on Nov 4, 2009 at 10:52 AM

Adam - Hahahahahaha!!!

FSG, a lot more people than you think are limited because DSL is not offered where they live. There are some decent sections of Tehachapi where DSL through phones or cable is not available, and people don't want to pay $60 per month for satellite service. They are sticking with dialup until the phone/cable company makes them a more reasonable offer.

Guess what infowar it happens to be his blog. He doesn't have to allow you anything. Bottom line is he can allow who and what he wants posted on his blog. To start a blog attacking him for not allowing you to post seems childish to me IMO. You may think he is not allowing freeedom of speech or whatever. It is his blog. He's not some news agency or news source he is writting a blog. All I can say is you aren't forced to read it or comment. Maybe you just rub him the wrong way. Seems like a waste of energy to me.

posted by NancyII on Nov 4, 2009 at 12:59 PM

I don't think freedom of speech on blogs was guaranteed in the constitution.  But, I could be wrong.

Wait, freedom to speak doesn't necessarily mean they have to listen to YOU speak.  Honestly, I wish there was a way to block all responses on a given particular blog and call it an editorial.  Everyone would be free to start a new blog with their opinions, praises and criticisms.  That way, like film critiques the author could choose to read them or not and everyone would be free to comment or not and everyone would be frikken HAPPY!

Cripes, you guys need a different hobby.  It's just a BLOG!

Info, I hardly ever agree with you or your sources, but I certainly respect your intelligence and your writing skills-don't leave.
