Press Release of the Day: What IS this thing?

Maybe it's just me ... but for some reason I don't know whether to fear this device or respect it.

Don’t Get Wrapped Up in Your Desk Cables … That’s What This Guy is For!

The “One Man Tied” isn't your boring, run of the mill desk organizer.  This miniature wire tidier is friendly and functional, offering a humorous appeal to those in need of cord control.

Available at CableOrganizer.com for just $10.00, the One Man Tied will let you wrap your table top cables around him to keep them out of your way, and his suction cup base will ensure that he and your wires will stay firmly in place.  He’s also made out of durable plastic so you can take your wire frustrations out on him…wrap him as tight as you want!

The one man tied is great for use in dorms, offices, households, and any other desktop environment that may have rampant cords – and welcomes a bit of personality. His economical price tag can easily fit into most people's budget, making him a great gift idea.

Looks like a waste of $10 to me..

The underside of my computer looks like a spiderweb.  Do they have a "one village tied" organizer?

Velcro... that is the solution to all cable messes... Just buy a spool of double-sided velcro (i.e. the back is the hooks and the front is the loops so you can wrap it around cables and it sticks to itself). Then cut to length and wrap cords to your hearts content. Go wild and have velcro wrapping your cords every 6 inches even. Audrey, it'll tame your village in... well not no time, but quickly enough.

Maybe my mouse won't get tangled in the web anymore.  Thanks.

How 'bout this knife holder???

That knife holder is so not pet safe... still have one cat that tries to get on the counters when I'm not looking.
