I would like a flight that goes further to the midwest.  It was a real shame when both American and Continental stopped serving BFL, and left us without a flight into either DFW or IAH.  Another flight to Los Angeles is practically useless to me.  It is cheaper (especially if you have family and not just yourself traveling), and you spend almost the same amount of time preparing to leave from BFL (early arrival for check-in and security, etc.) and adding the actually flight time to LAX (the only LA option to fly into) as you would spend driving down to Burbank or sometimes even LAX.

Most of our connections aren't all that helpful. You wind up spending time going north or south when you need to go east. Even Denver and Salt Lake aren't all that helpful unless you're headed north of the Mason - Dixon line. If US Air could keep its fares inline and bump up its service, it could OWN this market.

I recently had to take a trip to Phoenix...figuring in drive time and expense of driving to and parking at Burbank, it was a wash in terms of whether I flew via US Air from here or Southwest out of Burbank, financially. I'm sure US Air takes that into account.

But the fares to Denver on United are outrageous! Nearly $1,000 for an overnight trip in a couple of weeks. Makes you think twice about the necessity of the trip. Just one more factor in why the head honchos of Berry Petroleum moved to Denver.

We're in a lousy location with a rotten demographic to support serious air traffic. That's what it boils down to, and it's not going to change.
