Just Because You Cant See Jesus - Video by Kuzz Radio
I got this from my niece in TN this afternoon. The singers name is Richie McDonald. I'd like to have heard it with the band at the Crystal Palace. He co-wrote this with my nephew Ron Harbin. Listen for it if you're a country fan, you may be hearing a lot more of it. 10 comments from 9 users

That's so neat, Nancy. Your family has so many connections all over the place. I don't care what anyone says to me; I love country music. I'll have to listen to KUZZ more often and wait for the song to come on. posted by

+I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not cloth Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me. Then they also will answer Him, saying 'Lord , when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' Then He will answer them , saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.+ St. Matt 25:43-45

Jeff, I don't admit that to just anybody ya know. ;-) The guy he co wrote with was the lead singer for Lone Star and Ron co worte several of their hits. What About Now was the top #1 for them I believe. He also co-wrote an older song on George Straits Pure County album called Overnight Mail. Still one of my favorites. Geat hook there. Dgrealish on here is one of their best friends from grade school. Lol...small world huh? posted by

MOM! It's "Overnight MALE" ...I won't tell Steve! I was actually in Nashville visiting my cousin Ron(who the family calls Steve)in 1998 and was in the studio(The "Q")when they were doing the demo vocals for "What About Now". It was origanally pitched to Tim McGraw, who passed on it. A few weeks later I was talking online to Steve. He asked me what I thought of the song. I said.."Ehhhh..It's OK". He agreed it was an "ehhh" song. Two months later it was #1. Not bad for an "ehhh" song! Also, while they were doing the recording, Steve and the co-writer, whos name escapes me, had the orginal, handwritten lyrics with them. My ex wife was reading them and asked if she could keep them because she REALLY liked the song. They signed them then gave them to her. She now has the signed, original, handwritten lyrics to a #1 song...Cool Story! posted by

Right you are Mark. It's the play on words with Overnight Male that makes the hook. A smack on the forhead for me. Soulda had a V-8 I guess.
