Just thought I should let people know that Steve is having a rough time.  Im sure it's one of many to come in the next 7 weeks of daily treatment.

He started his second round of treatment this week which includes daily radiation and chemo pills.  Poor guy.  His day consists of sleeping, eating, pippyup, radiation, sleeping, eating, pippyup  radiation.....

I feel so bad for him.

P.S. its not his birthday.  I dont know how to get that heading off this blog!!!!! 

Everyone has been so kind wishing us luck through Steve Swenson's journey with thraot cancer.

For those of you who have said they have gone through this or know someone who has gone through a similar treatment plan, can you give me suggestions on how to be prepared? I have purchased lots of soup, jello and ensure.  I have mouthwash that has no alcohol and Im going to get the special toothpast for sensitive teeth with fluoride. 

What else helped you or your loved one to get through this?

I want to know anything you think can help. If you had a similar chemo how long after treatment did you get sick and how sick did you get? What helped?

Do you have radiation and what helped to ease things during this process???
