We are so glad you decided not to use that flyball team as a demo at the park. Me and a few of my friends have witnesssed the trainers abusive training methods and think its disgraceful. posted by

Marilyn from Alpha Canine and all the other organizations and volunteers do a lot of good works where the animals are concerned. More people need to get involved or at least donate so that neutering and chipping become second nature, and affordable to dog owners. Don't let dogs breed indiscriminately. Puppies are cute but they grow up to be dogs who continue to breed and we end up with the shelters full of unwanted pets. Walking through a shelter can be a sad thing..watching the dogs run up to the gate in hopes of getting to play or a scratch behind the ears. It's another sad thing that I don't feel I can post a plea for dogs without someone coming along and telling me we worry more about dogs than babies or lost lives in the war but I'll repeat what I've said before. Just because there are major things going on in the world doesn't mean we should stop being concerned about other issues. Oh rats..I was being defensive wasn't I ?
