Post Surgery Staying Healthy H1N1 Flu Updates Be Informed
Hello again! It has been a while since I posted here mainly because haven't had very much really good news. On March 5th I slipped in the mud at work. Normally this would have been a oh woops, but I fell pretty hard and unbeknownst to me my entire life changed that very moment. It took over 5 weeks to get an MRI done on the right knee, and as of yet no MRI on the wrist. So, typing is a bit of a chore, but I am trying. After the companies Workmans Comp insurance carrier denied my claim at 90 days (they said they didn't have enough medical information on me...however they had my entire medical history, all the Dr reports which said they believe it happened that day on the job) all medical visits and physical therapy ceased. Everyone had told me to hire an attorney right away but until the case was denied I wasn't listening. ... just anticipated it would go the right way. Why bring an attorney into it? I would have still been awaiting surgery if I hadn't gotten legal advice! The attorney got things back on track and at 5 months+ the knee surgery was done. Of course, it was a miserable 5 months...guess that goes without saying. Now at 20 days after surgery we are finally on the road to getting better. I have been reading a lot about the H1N1 Flu, speaking of health and wellness. With the schools open again we really have to watch our coughing in public places, keep those hands washed and if we are feeling ill by all means don't come to work. This has always been one of the areas that are difficult because we don't show up for work we can lose our job. I know, it has happened to me! But if it turns out to be H1N1 that you are carrying think of all the folks you can be infecting! I found a great site that has a World outbreak map of H1N1 Flu, 'swine flu' videos about how you can protect yourself and your family, and a bunch of interesting stuff on it. Yes, Bakersfield is on it but...you'll have to go there yourself! Here's the link 1 comments from 1 users

I know a while back you posted she lost her father and was just wondering how she is coping with this? Hope you recovery quickly! ~JAT
