Welcome to the TBC Gives' Blog
Welcome to our new group blog for TBC Gives! Our aim is to spread the word about easy ways you can give back to the community, even if you are low on time and money. We also wanted to use this as a platform to let our readers know about TBC Gives and our projects. TBC Gives is a committee of staffers from The Bakersfield Californian formed to use to our resources to give back to our community by organizing special projects. Past projects have included holiday spotlights on local families in need, Back-to-school drives for school supplies, book drives for local libraries, collection of personal hygenie items for local homeless shelters, and playground toy collection for local schools.
