This is very interesting, but I wish it contained a statement about why Mr. Cournyea is seeking this office.   I appreciate this info but it feels incomplete.

This guy looks like a reject from Mayberry. A former owner of a pest control service who is now a Unity "church" minister. His "church" believes in metaphysical healing and reincarnation. Sounds just dandy.

Education:  Some college

What does that mean?

Does he know Chad Vegas?

Thanks for the feedback, Whitney. We will have detailed candidate profiles running in paper in the next couple weeks. I'll also post the stories to the blog, so just keep checking back for more.

Why to go Cournyea!  I was surprised how many candidates were on stage last night at West High.  You and Hampton surely are what Dr. Carter called "advocates" for the students.   It's great to know that those of us who are in the trenches have someone on our side that wants to deal with the real issues instead of grinding their axes.  Thanks for being willing to help us help the students to succeed.  My vote is in and it's for Chuck.
