Read the complaint filed against Dr. Freesemann, others
The complaint filed against Dr. Jeff Freesemann and the others charged in the investigation of drugs at local nightclubs was sparse but offered a few clues. From Aug. 24 through Aug. 26, Tessa Galvan, Stephen Galvan, Phil Nunez, Dr. Freesemann and Shelly Freesemann conspired together to transport/sell controlled substances and possess a controlled substance for sale, according to the complaint. On Aug. 24, Mr. Galvan tells his sister, Ms. Galvan, he needs to buy meth. On Aug. 25, Mrs. Freesemann arranges to meet Mr. Galvan the following day. Aug. 26 was a busy day, the filing said:
The complaint also points out that Mr. Galvan was convicted of possessing/purchasing for sale a narcotic/controlled substance Feb. 26, 2002 in the Superior Court of Kern. The Freesemanns filed a motion to advance today in court and, along with Hori, are due back in court for a pre-preliminary hearing Nov. 5, according to the Superior Court of Kern's Web site. Ms. Galvan and Nunez have no court dates scheduled. Mr. Galvan's pre-preliminary hearing is Thursday. TUESDAY NIGHT UPDATE: The Californian obtained arrest records for the suspects in this case. Read "Police left doctor free for three weeks after seizing drug stash," which was just posted on Bakersfield.com. Previous stories and blog posts:

Another case of greed. The money the Dr. made, as a doctor, was plenty to keep them comfortable I'm sure. But no, have to have more and more. Greed will get you every time sooner or later. How sad. A family destroyed, children dragged through the mud and will now not have parents to raise them. I hope the Dr & his wife enjoyed the ride.

witter, the amounts of drugs possessed by the Dr., his wife, and their female "friend", is not indicative of someone doing this to make money. It seems more like they had them to "share" with others, which legally is the same as selling them. Maybe they were heading to a big "party".

Jason, can you please Sperberize WHYN11's avatar? Obnoxious. And offensive, to me, but who am I? Just a blogger.

Wow....how come everyone assumes he is guilty what happened to the judicial system doing it's part? I am mostly referring to his being removed from his positions in employment. I always thought they had to suspend them pending outcomes of trials and then proceed if found guilty. I love all the self proclaimed juries out there. I personally do not know the man or his situation other then media reports..who knows what might come out in the end? He must have been pretty trustworthy at some point. He held high postitions, no suspicions and the police even allowed him to stay out of jail for awhile......makes you wonder what is lying underneath. posted by

Maybe you should file a complaint with whoever licenses this home. That doesn't seem right, what's the purpose of the home? Most in the home are Prop 36 anyways, so we're once again footing the bill. posted by

Jeff Freesemann was always an arrogant person, fueled by a sociopathic desire of greed...that was his motivation to go to and get through medical school. I knew Jeff and Shelly a long time before the two of them ever got married, I knew Shelly in high school and the two of them in College. Even their wedding vows were centered around Jeff's money making potential. I googled them after years of no contact because I always knew that something like this would come to fruitation one day. As far as the greed...no amount of money is ever enough and Jeff is still probably engaging into "Peeing" contests with everyone, now just richer people. Secondly, to move mass amounts of "product" you always need a doctor, car dealership, lawyer etc .who can account for large amounts of money (I thought this was a given..drug dealing 101) What Jeff and Shelly got caught with was some residual product for themselves and their sordid lifestyle. Believe me when I say, as I know first hand, the medical community will be spared future atrocities (some probably yet to surface) by removing Jeff from the profession...I had always wondered just when this would be....
