Taoism
A TAOIST TEACHING I have three precious things which I hold fast and prize. The first is gentleness; the second is frugality; the third is humility, which keeps me from putting myself before others. Be gentle, and you can be bold; be frugal, and you can be liberal; avoid putting yourself before others, and you can become a leader of men. Gentleness brings victory to him who attacks, and safety to him who defends. Those whom Heaven would save, it fences round with gentleness. The greatest conquerors are those who overcome their enemies without strife. -- LAO TSE 9 comments from 5 users

All are welcome to comment. I will never delete a post. Those who may feel insecure in their faith are well advised to pay attention to the last line of today's prayer.

Yes, do you remember the Te of Piglet? By the time it was published I was already well into my adulthood. It still made an impression on me.

Quotes of Kindness Today I bent the truth to be kind, and I have no regret, for I am far surer of what is kind than I am of what is true. ~Robert Brault
