My name is Louie
Just wanted to spread the word to everyone that the name for the bear at CALM has been chosen and that name is Louie.

The 1-year-old black bear will be named Louie, a tribute to his origins in San Luis Obispo County. The zoo received dozens of suggestions from visitors who participated in the “Name the Bear” contest, according to a CALM press release. The state Department of Fish and Game delivered him to CALM June 21. “The judges felt the name was a good tie-in to his roots and would be friendly and easy-to-remember for visitors,” according to the release. Maybe CALM should find Louie a girlfriend. They could make baby bears and then more people could get their picked names selected. This would solve the consternation and controversy; there would be less vexation in our fair community; love and peace would prevail; our warm fuzzies would radiate to other communities; all nations would hold hands and dance around a maypole; there'd be no more wars; a new age of peace and understanding would change the world; fuel shortages would be a thing of the past; there'd be no more hunger in the world...unless Louie is gay. Pete, I pretty much covered the internet. It was front paged on Wikiality (Colbert's fake wikipedia) and on NoFactZone. It was also on a few of the other Colbert message boards, his MySpace page etc.I had no way of talking to him directly but I'd be really surprised if they didn't see it.
