The question to me is how do we encourage new or better alternative fuel sources for now and the future and still wean ourselves off petroleum for our major source of transportation power. Maybe $10.00 a gallon will be a start. Petroleum is going to be needed in large quantities for thousands of items other than fuel for as long as I can imagine. I think we need to start drilling in Anwar, off our coasts, build some new petroleum refineries and build new nuclear power plants. The ethanol plan used now is asinine to me. Something along the lines of the reward McCain offered for advanced battery technology is something to be excited about and not politicized and mocked. That is the only example that comes to mind right now. I think that is the only way we are going to get better, cleaner, non petro power. Through private research not funded by the gov. or oil. Not drilling in the places mentioned benefits who?
Why can I hear the tumblers on a lock being opened, or shoes walking on a floor, or a fly farting but I can not hear dialog on most movies unless I turn the volume up so loud my neighbors can hear the gunshots from my newest Netflix shoot'em up. I stopped going the "walk-ins" [my age showing] along time ago because of sound issues now it's the same problem with DVD's. I hear the background noise [cats purring, horses trotting] but not the words, especially it seems at important intimate moments.

Maybe Pelosi will really try to clean out some of the crooked politicians and govern with some sense of ethics.This is a good start. Since they will only be choosing Dems. I wonder if they will run out of honorable candidates before they fill the posts.
Tonight and tomorrow night on CNN Glen Beck has a special that has been heavily advertised on talk radio concerning the threat from the radical Islamic factions. The times are 6:00 and 9:00 according to the radio hosts. Sounds very interesting and educational. I don't watch Beck but normally but I think , for me anyway' it deserves a look.
Terroorists were stopped, thousands were probably saved, and the liberals are up in arms. We are not doing enough? We [UK and US] stopped several potential attacks since 9-11, all I hear about is how our rights are being eroded. It is unbelievable to me. Just wait until Osama is captured, the liberals will completely lose it, it will spin that it took to long, or it does'nt matter. I don't agree with Bush on everything he does but I thank god he is my President everytime I hear Kerry, Gore or any Micheal Moore idolizer whine.
